Welcome to www.publicaccess-barrister.co.uk

Thank you for visting my website. I am Harry Jay and I am a qualified barrister called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, London in 2000. I am trained, registered and accredited by the Bar Standard Board to provide legal service directly to members of the public and business corporations under the Public Access Scheme apart from the usual way of getting instructions directly from solicitors and in-house lawyers.

I am currently a tenant with Holborn Chambers in London, a progressive, dynamic and a forward-thinking set which prides itself on combining excellence and high standards with pragmatism and helpfulness.

I have a wide-ranging practice covering most areas of civil disputes. Please click on to areas of expertise for more details. I focus on litigation and advisory work, both contentious and non-contentious matters in various fields of my practice areas. I appear regularly in courts and tribunals at all levels in the London area, the South, South – West, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and along the M4 corridor to Greater London. I also take instructions and attend court hearings throughout other areas of England and Wales.

My aim is to provide clients with an exemplary service with an accurate and timely turnaround of work. My services are tailored to the needs of the clients by engaging with them at all times and to fulfil their requirements and to ensure the delivery of quality and value for money service. My clerk offers clients an approachable and an efficient service promptly and without unnecessary delays.

More importantly, the fee structure is tailored to the requirements of the individual client and I can offer lower fees than a typical solicitor of equivalent experience and / or standing.

If you would like to instruct me or would like to know more, or make an enquiry about a specific matter, please feel free to contact me or my clerk to discuss your requirements.
